  1. I'm not giving up! For weeks now I have been searching the
net for help with the symptoms I'm having and sooner or
later I know someone will know what I'm talking about. I'm
not special enough to be the only one out there that has
    felt like this!

The basic problem is the symptoms of low body temperature
and cold clammy sweats when I try to do just about any
activity hard or not. My temperature runs from 94.8 to 96.7
most of the time. Never gets to what they say is the normal
range of 98.6. I get tired easier and I seem to be sleeping
more lately. I'm in my mid 50s and retired. Because of these
problems I am starting to get depressed.

So far what I have had done is a couple of blood panels done
and three CBC tests done because my doctor thought I had an
infection. I have been treated with four (4) different
antibiotics. First time did nothing. Blood test #1 showed
high white count. More antibiotics. Blood test #2 CBC was
even higher. More antibiotics and yet another test and the
white blood cells were still high. You can see where I'm
going here. If it's an infection all those antibiotics
should have taken care of it. I'm still suffering.

I don't have a clue if this is Hypothyroidism problem or not
but I've got nothing to lose. If any of you out there know
these symptoms please get back to me. [email hidden]

    Thank you!!

Agreed. Your doctor should be doing a workup to rule
    out leukemia.

Are the symptoms I'm having close to those of leukemia? Know
any place where I can go read about it? Any info will help.

    Thanks for your post!!!

There are lots of cancer-related web sites out there.
However, I would caution you not to jump to any conclusions.
See your doctor, and get the workup. Good luck.
