I crossed over to the darkside !

That usually happens to me too when riding in unfamiliar or new trails, I see someone and after some minutes of talking, got myself another friend.

Over the years I've made friends in all places through Mountain Biking and thats how I made friends with other riders. What's good with Mountain Bikers and Cyclists is we may have met only once years ago but whenever we see each other on a trail we would talk as friends.

It's great meeting people on the trail, you almost always have good conversations and eventually keep in touch and become friends. Even when I'm just cycling on the road in the city, I've made a lot of connections talking with other riders.

While it's nice to see you enjoyed your ride, I can't help but be a little skeptical about your "exploration" of the Darkside. I mean, seriously, it's been 4 years and you're just now discovering other riders on those trails? And don't even get me started on the trails themselves - I bet they're nothing but a bunch of overhyped, overcrowded tourist traps. But hey, if you're into that sort of thing, more power to you. Just don't expect me to join in on your mediocre adventures anytime soon. 😉

Out and about exploring some new trails on the other side of the train tracks. The best part was it was the first time in 4 years that I saw another rider out on the trails. We stopped and talked for a bit and will hopefully get together and ride. What a great day exploring, who knew The Darkside would be so fun.
