I invented a new triathalon event yesterday

1500 yard swim
25 mile bike
5 hours substitute teaching 28 kindergarteners

After my swim workout I decided to go for a bike ride. I had some paperwork to do at the school I teach at so I thought I would go there, do some work and ride home. It's about 25 miles round trip.

Summer school was in full swing (I'm not teaching it) and when I got there they were scrambling to find a sub for the kindergarten teacher who needed to take over for the principal who had been called to a meeting.

They nabbed me.

So I taught 6 hours in my bike clothing with helmet hair.

Then I rode home.

Pretty much the longest bike ride I ever did in terms of time.

Helmet hair is great fun for kindergardeners don't ya think? I believe they like helmet hair and like to be really smelly!
