Damn, that thing looks beautiful. Sounds great too. Really expensive though, but you usually get what you pay for!

Wow. What a great looking bike. I bet it rides super smooth. I have to ask you how much you paid for that thing?

Haven't bought it - just tried it at LBS. They have it at list right now. Very nice feel to it.

For those that need a picture. But I like the paint job of this bike. I wonder how it rides.

That's more than my car costs!
It is a beautiful machine though, top notch everything despite what Volnix says.
However for me I would never spend that much on a bike, unless there was some justification for it.
See a downhill bike might warrant that cost, but certainly not a road bike.
Do a quick cost/benefit analyst. What is this bike giving you that a $1000 bike could not? Is half a second on a (for fun!) time trial really worth 2 grand?
Unless your goal isn't as much about performance as it is about looking cool and impressing people. Then by all means go buy this rig.
I have a good friend who is one of the most fit humans I have ever met. He rides an old steel Steve Bauer frame he swears he has not more than $500 bucks in. He shows up at rides and gets laughed at. No one laughs when he passes them. Sometimes the bike makes the man, but sometimes the man makes the bike.

I've never been at a ride where anyone laughed at a rider who showed up riding a classic steel bike. Most of the others drooled over it.

Heck, I've done a few in the winter time on a middle of the road Schwinn--not even a Paramount. :D

Were the flanges aero shaped with FEM analysis? :p Was it at least disk brakes and Taiwan CNC titanium bolts everything? :D

True enough that no level of technology (well, except motorizing a bike) is going to compensate fully for lack of ability, strength or skill.

But yes, you do get what you pay for. Honestly, $3600 isn't much for a bike in the grand scheme of things - that's a low-end carbon bike, low-end mid/range bike overall. I guess it's a matter of perspective. All bikes do the same basic thing, get you from A to B faster than you could walk or run by harnessing raw muscle power and magnifying it through mechanical advantage. All cameras take pictures, too, but you're gonna get better pics and far more options with something like a Canon EOS than with a $70 point and shoot.

    For $3600 I'd buy titanium.

I honestly love this one! This looks like a perfect bike to go riding in. I especially like the color too. The price is very high which is why I go to Walmart to get mine. That is a very nice bike!
