Just bought a cheap but good condition classic old Raleigh Marathon on Craigslist today for $160. It rides ok but it is a tank. The wheels are partially to blame because they are heavy steel. Now I experimented and put my 2011 Campy Scirocco's with a Shimano 10 speed cassette and it would put but the 5 speed chain would jump on the 10 speed cassette - so it doesn't work out. The only solution to this is to get a special 5 speed [?] cassettte that will work on 9 or 10 speed wheels and it'll adapt to my bike. ANyone here know of such a thing?
Or else does anyone know where to get old good ally wheels for an old bike?
