Can anyone ID my Campy Athena Derailleur.
I need to know if the parallelogram works with 8s, 9spd pre-'01, or 9spd
post-'01.

It has "Campagnolo" script and "Athena".
The "Athena" lettering is normal (not reversed in black background like the
newer Centaur and Daytona)
Jockey Wheels say Campagnolo 2302012.
No mention of 8s or 9s on the wheels or anywhere on the derailleur body.

Thank you

If it says 'Athena' on it, it is from 1995 thru 1999. It is compatrible with
any Campagnolo shifter. Downtube, or ERGO, from 1991/2 till today w/o
modification.

Don't believe the pre/post '01 stuff. In our extensive experience, it just
doesn't matter. We use 2004 rear ders as replacement rear ders on all
Campagnolo systems, from even early 90s and also have put new 10s ERGO using
old, not worn out, rear ders from the early 90s with great results.
