Hello all, I just got hold of a set of clipless pedals made by "VP".
However, I couldn't find what type they are on the internet. They're
similar to the R-61 type they make these days, only the front end is
more pointy and the the rear end runs straight instead or arching toward
the middle.

Does anyone know what type they are, and if they use VP's "bio-cleat"
cleats? The binding looks standard SPD to me.

As you can see, it takes a CO-1 VP cleat. After looking at the photo of
that cleat, I am guessing this is a fully SPD compatible cleat and pedal.
That's not certain! Some cleats and pedals (Ritchey...shudder) look very
close to a standard SPD but do not work. However, VP works hard for its
money in the cheap-and-cheerful end of the market, where SPD
compatibility is the gold standard.
It's discontinued now. What else do you want to know?
