I really don't think Shimano/Microsoft is a fair comparison. Shimano ain't /that/ bad.

Ooooof. lordy. that old suntour stuff did work didn't it? w/ CP/M tho i get mixed up with the
hardware which was crazy unreliable. i rememeber pulling the Imsai's S-100 bus cards and reseating
all the memory (4k) every week or whenever the machine wouldn't boot. groovy text games, tho.
dungeon, adventure, wumpus.

you won't catch me saying back in the good old days .. my memory is too good.

Campagnolo is Netscape.

If Shimano really IS Microsoft, Campy will soon be assimilated.

ha. now *i* WAS going to say that. i held off 'cause while BeOS may be, umm, bankrupt, sometimes
innovative, certainly inexpensive they were also somewhat flashy, never quite functional and in no
small part borrowed.

silly twits didn't get the multi-user thing going in time, either.

closest one yet, tho. they certainly thought being inexpensive would save them.
