when doing Isolated leg training the Lower wattage levels must effect the KJ calculation right, so if you do 40 minutes of ILT do you just double the KJ as an approximation of actual KJ???

ps i dont think the ILT works but i thought i would try if for 4 weeks:eek:

You wish. The KJ calculation is accurate as is.

It doesn't matter how many legs you are pedaling with, maybe you have 4 legs. The work done (KJ) is just what the powermeter tells you. Why would it be any different?

What if you have two bikes on two trainers side-by-side but only one has a powermeter? You pedal with both legs, the left leg clipped into the right pedal of the bike on the left and the right leg clipped into the left pedal of the bike on the right.

My guess is that's what the original poster is doing :)
