There are implantable chips that give information that can
be read remotely. Presumably, a different kind is active;
they can release medication. These both can be useful.
Of the chips that give information, how large are they.
Other than location, what readings do they give, i.e. what
do they measure? Vital signs? How durable are they? What is
their expected life? Are they vulnerable to damage and
breakdown? What brings it about?
Of chips that can release medication, if there are such, how
much do they hold? Something else would have to be implanted
when the reservoir emptied. What sort of cases are they
designed for?
It would be helpful to know of more fruitful forums to query
if any are known.
