Just swapped sensors etc to a new training bike - cadence works perfectly but the speed is not.

Sensor mounted in correct range of wrist unit and the sensor flashes as the magnet passes. Occassionally I had noticed this problem on my old bike but not the extent of day - pleased it was only a fun ride!

Now I have had the unit a few years and only just replaced the battery in the wrist unit - do you think it is time to replace the sensor batteries as well? It is giving a read out and then just drops to 0.0 mph and then picks up again - quite annoying!

Thanks

Replace the battery and while your at it, change the signal strength on the sending unit as well by swapping the pin settings - instructions are on the Polar web site :)

Swapping Pin Settings? did a search on the polar site and did not find anything, then again I cannot find how to change the batteries on there either!

Now found in the manual how to change the batteries
