Hi exercisers.Im 57 years young, this past thanksgiving I embarked on an indoor exercise program to
strengthen my knees.I have developed a wolk jog program indoors on concrete with about 1/2 carpet
for cushioning.I have also done nautilaus 2xweek for about 3 months now.Well my walk jog is great I
can jog almost a mile now and I have had no aches or pains all winter although I get a sore back
every time I try concept 2 rowing macine even for 5 minutes on a 3 setting. At any rate I was able to
get outdoors in balmy 50 degree f weather this week and only at a slow touring speed similar to
stolling and less than 10 miles wow what a differance in post exercise aches, my knees wer mildly
sore and my back and shoulders also, leading me to realization that indoor exercise is not much work
though better than nothing but exercising on real terrain is much more work. Its amazing I can jog
without knee soreness but I feel it right away in other sports.Im anxious to exercise outdoors more
now. I have noticed for years the differance between walking on flat terrain and walking on a golf
course,i.e. rolling terrain. Thought I share my summarzation with you all.Bob
