  1. I am new to this group; I am researching induction cooktops and have
yet to meet anyone who actually owns one (I live in the San Francisco
Bay area). I would enjoy reading comments from induction cooktop users
and am particularly interested in the Wind Crest cooktop; it is
shallower than the others I've seen and allows more clearnace for an
oven beneath. Does anyone have experience with a Wind Crest? Many
    thanks!

Hi Jagmarg, I have read about these and they sound really good. I
would be interested in anything you find out and especially if you
hear of any commercial versions. You usually get new types of
appliances come out in the States before us in the UK. Best of luck
and I will keep an eye on your posts.

  3. I never could get Windcrest to give me an actual date for production or to
see an example of the unit. I went with 2 Electrolux units, which I will
    start using in 2 weeks.
