Here's a pic from my 10-6-02 Whistler faceplant. Just used up the roll of film friday.

    http://home1.gte.net/res1ccvg/pics/wrist.jpg

I've never really used the macro on this camera. The pic seems to be somewhat distorted. The
contusion was actually about the size of a golf ball, or more like a walnut under the skin. I had to
get Eric to remove my wrist watch, it was cutting off blood circulation to my hand. :-(=20

Of course the angle of the pic when taken could be why the swelling doesn't show up much.

I didn't get a pic of my face, though Eric suggested it. My chin smacked a fist sized rock, dang
near broke my jaw. I now own a spankin new Sixsixone fullface....

Enjoy the pic....I know some of you will. ;-)

Injuries suck, but that doesn't look THAT bad...I threw out 5 socks last = season 'cuz they were
blood-soaked (knee and shin rearangement). Next = time I expose bone, I'll post a link :)

Those always suck. Best one I've done to myself was the full 10 chainring marks on my right calf
from a little 2' dropoff off the side of my driveway... with sneakers on ATACs (bad idea, btw). Bike
twisted out too, so it was both punture and tearing. Couldn't give blood for quite a while there.

taken on a scanner, a day or two after the event and yes, my legs are that skinny... not quite as
much anymore, but they're still small.

It was two fractured ribs. And my chin landed on a fist sized rock. Came = close to breaking my jaw,
about one and a half inches from knocking all my = front teeth out.

Never have had a compound fracture, hope and pray I never do. That must = suck. My crash just hurt
like hell for about four weeks.

Of all the people here, I thought you were the most literate. Augh. My mistake. (Hint: re-read my

I gashed my right shin open directly on my ATAC pedal. Didn't get a pic of the wound, however.
Someday I'll get a pic of the scar.

I've never really used the macro on this camera. The pic seems to be somewhat distorted. The
contusion was actually about the size of a golf ball, or more like a walnut under the skin.
I had = to get Eric to remove my wrist watch, it was cutting off blood circulation to my

Of course the angle of the pic when taken could be why the swelling doesn't show up much.

I didn't get a pic of my face, though Eric suggested it. My chin smacked a fist sized rock,

It would appear that you didn't read my original RR. Or the post = you're responding to. Here is
    part of it:

It was two fractured ribs. And my chin landed on a fist sized rock. = Came close to breaking my
jaw, about one and a half inches from knocking all my = front teeth out.

    >Injuries suck, but that doesn't look THAT bad...I threw out 5 socks =

Never have had a compound fracture, hope and pray I never do. That = must suck. My crash just hurt
like hell for about four weeks.

Crap, my good 'ol microsquish smooshware is having a tantrum. Sorry.

I need to add: If you have read my post, the pic doesn't show the full = extent of the swelling.
Plus I had to have my bud remove my watch cause it was preventing blood from getting to my hand.
