I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on innertube sizes.

Basically I want to put a puncture resistant innertube in my bike.

However it seems that the exact size is no available for my bike.

I have a 26" tri bike.

Most of these tubes are for 700c wheels or for 26" mountan bike wheels

So if the normal size of tube is say 26" 18/23

Is it possible to inner another size SAFELY particularly if I am going to use high pressures in the region of say 140PSI. If so what would be the most compatible size?

Thanks In Advance for your advice

Regards

Nev

Unfortunately your replies did not exactly answer my question.

Here is a link to the type of tube I wish to buy.

As you can see it is for a 700c bike whereas I have a 650C bike with 23mm tyres.

I want to know what size of tube I can use which is not the 100% ideal size

given that the ideal size does not appear to exist for these type of tubes.

But if you know different then I am all ears

I have a Tri bike, four 650c wheels, all with 23mm tyres and the right tube is a Conti Race 650 or Race 650 Lite. What's the problem?

The tubes you have posted a link to are 700c, are not made in 650cx23mm. Do not try MTB tubes in 650c race tyres, use light weight tubes.

You may be better served with a Kevlar belted tyre, I use Conti Ultra Gator Skin for glass strewn paths and roads.

Use the Conti link below, go the the Unitube page.

gclark8 and I both posted links to tubes that will work. 700C tubes will not work. 650 tubes are what you need, and there are plenty of 650x23 tubes available.
