Installing an FSA Italian BB 70x108

All,

I'm helping a friend replace a Campy BB with a FSA Italian thread BB
(70x108) into his frame. The bb will be installed into an aluminum bb
shell (sp?). In terms of preping the FSA bb, I understand that:

1) Place a threadlocker/Loctite type substance on the threads of the
BB
2) Install torque the BB into the frame's BB shell
3) Allow the threadlocker/Loctite substance to sufficiently 'activate'

Is this correct ? How long should I wait for the Loctite substance to
do it's thing ? There are several different versions of Loctite, is
there a certain version specific for this type of application ?

It can take several hours for the Loctite to fully cure. Proceed with the rest of the work. The Service Removeable #242 should be adequate.

I never use locktite. Grease and teflon tape, and the infamousd self loosening drive side on Italian BB needs to be extra tight. The recmmended torque spec ought to tb adequate.
