Insurgents are cowards!

I think you have various groupings in Iraq so the situation is complex.
First of all you have the resistance fighters who resent interference in their country, years of sanctions, hypocrisy in the U.S. Administration and so on.
Then you have the fanatical terrorists and, sure, many of these people are cowards as you say. I mean, how about the group who burst into a school in Beslan and terrorised a batch of schoolchildren, shooting many in the back?
Amongst that latter group, of course, you have the 9/11 hijackers or Madrid bombers but I think Bush has exploited the confusion amongs all these groups.
if you ask me Iraq is one huge, gigantic muddle. The latest I heard is that the Shia moslems are likely to take power, displace the old secular order and probably create an Islamic State.

Mind of a four-year-old ... Amar Ahmed Mohammed, who was killed on polling day in Iraq.

Amar Ahmed Mohammed was 19 years old. But the fact that he had the mind of a four-year-old did not stop the insurgency's hard men as they strapped explosives to his chest and guided him to a voting centre in suburban Al-Askan.

Before dawn yesterday in Baghdad, his parents strapped his broken remains to the roof of a taxi to lead a sorrowful procession to the holy city of Najaf. There, they gave him a ceremonial wash and shrouded him in white cotton before burying him in the shadow of the shrine of Imam Ali, the sainted founder of their Shiite creed.

No doubt the situation is complex but...these maniacs have got to stop sending children, women and handicapped people to do their dirty work. These people are not human as far as I am concerned.
