Integrated Headsets: Good Idea?

    Other than being "new", I can't figure why anyone would bother with them.

    Yep, marketing nearly as good as McDonalds - crap that they've made everyone want to buy. Harder to replace, more expensive and the only advantage is they look a little 'smoother'.

    The integrated headset thing is a bit confusing -- I think mainly because there are two types.. the basic integrated headset, which ends up permanently damaging the frame, and a "hidden" headset, which works like a conventional headset, but is just inside the head tube, instead of out the edges of it.
