  1. Hi im a big guy and new to cycling, have two questions for you.

question 1. I want to buy a Raleigh bike (always had a Raleigh) was thinking of the mens at10 mtb RALEIGH Freeride AT10 :: £189.95 :: Raleigh Bikes :: Mountain Bikes :: but have been told that because im a bit on the heavy side, 18 stone respectively, i will need double walled rims on the bike. I know Raleigh do an upgraded model called the at20 with stronger wheels, but i dont want to spend the exctra money if i can help it. Are there any other heavier set riders out there? and do you have to fprk over more dosh for double walled wheels?

question2. The website above says the bikes are 85% assembled and will require a bike emchanic to build em before you ride. Is this something i can do myself or do i have to take it to my local bike shop. i hate it there though, i begrudge giving halfords my money! anyone else had any experience building interweb bikes?
