Is a used Giant GSR400 worth 50 pounds?

Here's the classified description:
Giant mans gsr400 mountain bike. 21.5" frame with 21 gears. The bike has good brakes and is in full working order. Good condition.
Bike looks great in the pictures, except for rusty top handle bars (which I might just remove anyway). The person is selling it for 50 pounds, but from what I can gather, GSR400 is an old model - is it worth the price?

This is after-the-fact since the particular bike doesn't seem to be available .... But, a 21.5" MTB is best suited for someone who is taller than 6'0" tall. Otherwise, if it was in working condition then it probably was worth £50.

Thanks for the feedback! I did end up buying it, but bargained it down to 45 pounds since its a rather old model. Luckily enough, I am 6'0" so it should fit me once I raise the saddle to the right height.
