Hi,
This may be a bit of a basic question but i need to ask it.
Are ISIS and shimano octalink bottom brackets compatible?
If i was buying a chainset that said it needed octalink could i in fact use an ISIS bb?
Thanks

To elaborate just a bit, the Octolink axle has 8 splines, and the ISIS has 10. As a result, an ISIS BB axle won't fit an Octolink crank arm. Octolink is the Shimano proprietary design, while ISIS is an open industry standard that any aftermarket manufacturer can use.
Got it, thanks for the reply
