yes, it is, they both took drugs illegally, and both got busted.

I don't think politics is a factor, high profile people are targets,
although conservatives (rush and lance are good examples)
are so arrogant and "right" all the time, that people must enjoy
busting them...
I'm not even sure Lance is a conservative actually, I would
think his upbringing might have instilled some liberal tendencies,
but then again self made men usually aren't very interested
in the whole welfare state thing.

Give up your BS man. The French have been after Lance since 1999.
This isn't anything new and has little or nothing to do with politics,
Lance is self avowed mostly non political, and has criticized Bush
