cant get out all week with the ice on roads here in ireland ,hoping to improve nt few days plenty of christmas pudding no cycling does anyone risk it on icy roads out there?

Spike tires. On a MTB or a cross bike.

The only bike I have is a lightweight MTB with decent tyres so the weather doesn't affect me as much.

did28miles today at last few dodgy bits on the road avoided hills felt good only thing got puncture 2 miles from home went down like the titanic ,forgot pump had to walk home happy enough though.....
