I agree. I believe in Pat.... he's got this doping problem licked !
No, I'm not saying that. Obviously the UCI is guilty in going along with the whole doping thing, allowing the 50% Hct for example limit is farcical, as they know right well that no one can have a hct of 49.9 in the last week of a 3 week tour.

But JJ was swearing that he only saw Fuentes about his daughters eye problem, and offering his dna for comparison to prove his innocence, and now he's admitted to the whole thing.

They all dope and they all lie about the details.

So what? Why is Erik Zabel still racing?? Did anyone really believe his tearful EPO confession whereby he claimed to use EPO for just one week? Or is he still injecting EPO on a daily basis?

Levi said today that if he wins the TDF, people will probably think he doped too. He thinks that cycling must come up with an idea that not everyone is a cheat.

Ideas = marketing themes

My idea:
Hey Levi, maybe if you quit BEFORE the Tour, we will respect you more.

Pat looks like he's running scared and wants to silence JJ.

He's got to go! The sooner the better.
So very true. Talking about people who should know better, I can't believe this:

* You don't believe this - Education of Spanish national trainers by Eufemiano Fuentes
The A.E.D.D. -- Asociación Española de Derecho Deportivo is organizing an interesting
conference in Spain from the 2nd - 6th July in the University King Juan Carlos.
Key speakers a.o.: Alejandro Blanco, President of the Spanish Olympic Committe (COE):
Spanish National football coach Javier Lozano, The national coach of Spanish cycling
FRANCISCO ANTEQUERA and colleagues of many other national teams.
Wednesday 4th July - 12.00 a very interesting lecture from doctor Eufemiano Fuentes,
"big boss" of blood-doping scandal number 1: the "Operación Puerto".
Announced as the "Especialista en temas deportivos" ("specialist in sportive subjects")
he will talk about: "La medicina en el deporte" (The medicins in the sport).
sources: sportec.es / AS
Just a question: "Is Mr Fuentes such a good friend of the Spanish Olympic Committee?"
All speculations about other sporters involved in the "Operacion Puerto" can start now.

I know, this should probably have been a new thread but I have real problems getting on to parts of this site at work (blocked because of 'banned phrases!).

Rumour has it he will tell of a lab in Spain run by a "Dr Fuentes."

Supposedly at that lab they have several bags of dog blood. There are code names that will cause a scandal right before the TDF. Big names...... Real big names. Names that have more then 6 vowels.

Teams will fall.

Riders will fall.

And it will give this forum new life so we can discuss doping instead of cycling all the time.

As confirmed by his lawyer, he'll be telling all to Der Spiegel. He also wants to be a key witness, in exchange for a reduced punishment.

Seeing that he wants to return in the future, will he dare to name anyone?

Hope this brings CSC down finally. :D
