I like his attitude these days. Sort of, "Look, if you can't figure out what professional cyclists were up to for the last decade, or if you're simply denying it, then you're too goddamn stupid for me to spell it out for you."

It's a straightforward, no-nonsense approach that's shared by a few European countries. That Americans are even bothering to argue over Armstrong's doping is further proof that we're useless.

The other side of the argument is, as always, Winston Churchill - "Democracy is the worst form of government aside from all other that have been tried."

So true. The biggest mistake we made happened on January 26, 1942. It was just plain stupid, and in retrospect many Americans to this day regret it.
