The 2007 USA Cycling National Festival at Seven Springs presented by California Giant Berry Farms continued on Thursday as 20-year-old Max Jenkins rode to a national title in the menandrsquo;s U23 road race. Jenkins outlasted his nine breakaway companions and the remainder of the 176-rider field to complete the 138-kilometer course in 3 hours, 32 minutes and 52 seconds. The victory was the first national title for Jenkins, who placed ninth a year ago. Jenkins rode across the line alone, 11 seconds ahead of silver medalist Chris Monteleone, followed by third-place finisher Todd Nordblom.
