Jitensha Studios Ebisu frame?

    Anyone here ever try one of these frames out? What's the scoop on the bike and the shop (which is in
    Berkeley, CA)? From what I can see they certainly look like well made steel frames.

    I was studying at UCB when this small shop opened in 1982 or sometime like that. It's a small one may operation, with an impeccable interior design. The owner designs the frames and has them manufactured in Japan. I go by this shop on occasion and have seen the ebisu and am very impressed-clean lugwork, nice paint and excellent brazing details. It competes with the Rivendell Ramboulet/Atlantis in price. I haven't ridden an Ebisu, but I can-Yoshi ( I think that's his name) has a couple built up in the shop.
