Joe Blow Pro

I have a Joe Blow Sport track pump - there are two black plastic caps (one
at the base of the cylinder on the front, the other to the left of the
pressure gauge body) - if either of these work loose, they let the air out
of the barrel without pumping up the tyre - if your version of the pump has
these, make sure they are (finger) tight
