Can someone recommend a book or article that discusses the very basics
of jogging - posture, stride length, what to do with your arms, etc.?
I occasionally see other people my age jogging who appear to be slowly
sauntering around the track with almost no effort and I am surprised to
find that they are going faster than me! If I try out of curiosity to
keep up with them, it seems that it takes a much greater effort than
they appear to be expending.
I know that there could be a lot of components to this: attitude,
genes, previous training, etc. and I'm not interested in going faster
for its own sake, as my current pace suits my needs. But I'd like to at
least have the basics covered.
Thanks.
