Yes, finally someone with a brain speaks the truth!

Here's what the Republican Dumbasses are doing to America:

- Since the Iraq war started, the war has cost America about $280
billion. This is all funded with borrowing. We are LOSING $300 mil per
day on this war.

- Since the Iraq war started, the price of oil has jumped from $30 per
barrel to roughly $58 per barrel. The Saudis produce about 12 million
barrels per day. The Saudis are MAKING $336 million more per day since
the war began.

America fights the war and foots the bill. The Saudis are raking in the
bucks. Do you see anything wrong here?

Thanks to Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, Wolfowitz, etc. for committing
the United States to the biggest STRATEGIC BLUNDER of American history.
Our kids will be paying for this mess for years!

Is it better to lead us into a messed up war, waste tons of money and
lives, and increase insecurity, have a "vision" and refuse to admit
mistakes, or to have no plan, criticize the screw-up and admit things
are messed up and hard to deal with? I'd go for the latter every time
myself. Truth is better than lies, always.

What is better, changing the rear wheel in an ITT, or switching bikes?
If JFK had been following Rassmussen like I suggested, he would
have realised that the answer is to decide on one or the other
and not change your mind in the middle.

You left out that current debt is being underwritten by chinese bond
purchasers. Europe and Japan have run out of money to lend the USA.

R U talkin' about Rabobank and their 3 Stooges?

I come here for sport not politic. You are usually the first one to
rag on folks for off topic too.

Did you hear the conspiracy theory that Bush was actually a Saudi agent?

I wish this statement were true. Then the jackass rednecked bigots who
vote Republican would still illiterate by candlelight, and shitting in
outhouses.

Yes, wonderfully coherent, that last bit.

'Atta way to stay on topic (last I checked it was cycling, but who's to say
for sure?).

Apparently Kerry is there at LA's invitation. Crow worked for Kerry in
2004 and Armstrong and Crow were in Boston for the post-election party.

Maybe Armstrong has figured out that Bush is a sociopath who uses him
to further his own political objectives, that Bush got us involved in a
stupid war whose cost in American lives, money and international
influence is almost beyond conprehension, and that the Republican Party
no longer represents individualism but instead stands for borrowing
money from the Chinese to wage a wasteful war and finance taxcuts and
war profiteering for Bush's cronies, for wasted US military power, for
rightwing fundamentalism shoved down your throat, and for a gang of
creeps that are willing to do anything, no matter how treasonous, in
their pursuit of power.

Republicans can compose a coherent sentence.

Lance, at least on one occasion remarked that he disagrees with Bush on
many political matters, being somewhat left of center.

He considers Bush a friend, like many of us have friends of differing
political views.

Then what does that say about the Bush? He's more error prone than Quayle.

Only when it's slightly off-topic, like bike.marketplace-type stuff.

Armstrong is canny enough to not wear his political heart on his
sleeve. Somehow, I think if he were a strong Bush supporter, we'd have
heard something.

It is true that the republican party is composed much too highly of
double-talking devils.

The criticism you've mentioned is the end of what the democratic party
can rightly say. The american left is intellectually bankrupt and has
been so for over a century. All they got is how bad "the right" is (and
it is bad). It is pathetic. They have no ideas worth mentioning.

No ideas, no coherancy, no deep consistancy, and a bunch of know
nuthin's -- that is the democratic party. There is no important
difference between the republicans and democrats. The 2 major parties
have both become statist in their ideologies.

In short, Kerry is a statist suckwad, and so is Bush.

The entire debate between republican and democrat comes down to which is
worse, and which will do the least damage. Pathetic.

Since I'm referring to the entire history, and not just the last century
when calling out average, no. Anyway, mediocrity is the rule, with a
few standouts either way. I'm saying all better-than-average presidents
held office before 1900.

As a side poli-note, here is Bush's last SoU address translated to
english for normal humans:

Is there someone who really loves "crass commercialism"?
