Joining Tracks in Memory Map

TIA

AFAIK you select one track and then hover over a second. Right-click
gives the option to join track.

I'm doing this from memory though so it may not be correct. Also I have
MM Navigator and not MMOS so there may be differences. Try it anyway 🙂

Concur. Right click while focused on either track. Select
"operations", select "join track".

The routine method already suggested sometimes fails. I've been
exasperated with it on several occasions. And the Help is useless in
this context. And Memory-Map Support were unable to help. So here are
three other supplementary recommendations I've collected over the last
year or two, if you have trouble with the plain method:

1) Ensure that MIN UPDATE DISTANCE is not set too low. In Properties,
select one as the active track and set its MIN UPDATE DISTANCE to a
high value. This controls the distance allowed between tracks which
are joined). Use something like say 100, or even 500, depending on the
scale of map.

2) Ensure that the two tracks are in the same Category or
Sub-category. So, for instance, don't impatiently file away the first
track before joining the second one (found in Tracks - track).

3) In extreme cases, export the tracks as GPS eXchange format (.gpx)
files and then edit them. For example, taking an associated problem
I've also had, when I joined two tracks by mistake and then couldn't
separate them. I exported the joined track by making it visible, right
clicked, and then use Save As to export as GPX.
