That was last week. Today he raced, all the guys were there except
Wellens (suspended) and he was 5th, in the 3-4-5 group. Then he
flatted ...moment of silence for the Dugast...
......
.....

Then he got on the spare bike, his trainer, he only has two bikes till
the rest of his stuff gets there on Wednesday. He made it back up from
13th to the 6-7-8 group (20 second gap) in half a lap! He turned a
faster lap then the 1-2 riders. He was bridging to the 3-4-5 group and
then his chain broke on the training bike and that was it.

He was actually happy when he called cause he was riding so well, and
the World Cups guys were all there. We will see next Sunday in
Swissland I guess.

Pawels sat on him for a couple laps, playing the "inexperienced
youngster card" so I was told. Then jumped him before the finish. JP
said he was stupid and that wont happen again! Kinda funny. Maybe he
called him uncle Johnny.
