Just bought a cycling trainer. Sweating!!!

LOL I guess I must be spoilt. When I use the CompuTrainer I close all windows and doors, set the cooler to 16C/61F (won't go any lower) On top of this I have a fan blowing from the left of the front wheel and another blowing air on the calf muscles to the right of the crank. Positively freezing! :D

Seriously though I still sweat somewhat.

I have a little TV tray beside my bike with a towel and water bottle on it. And the TV remote. My trainer is loud so I use wireless headphones to actually hear what is going on.

Oh yeah, and a fan. Ceiling fan on high for me.

Just got the Kinetic by Kurt Road and am loving it so far. Solid as a rock.

I heard from a friend that is the best trainer you can get.

I used my fluid trac today before my crit race... warmed-up pedaling for about 20-minutes with one 30-sec interval for leg wake-up. And even at 9am, cold outside, and I am sweating.

My research seemed to indicate the same. For the relatively modest price premium over some of the others I think it was worth the investment, especially since it will see many hard hours of use this winter and beyond.
