Karrimor Disk Lock

Ok folks,

Time to put the Dearstalker on, I'm trying to track down some replacement disk
lock parts. Have had to get a new rack recently but the screws in one of the
disk locks has rusted so much that when I tried to unscrew it I just stripped
the head off, grrrrr.

So any suggestions, I've asked gearshift and wiggle. LBS not answering their
phone ATM, grrr.

Cheers

Steve

My LBS got some for me, I think through Fisher but I can't be sure.

Also St John Street Cycles (sjscycles.com) who actually list them in the
online catalogue, though you might have to buy a complete set with
hooks.

While we're on the subject, does anyone have any clever ideas for
replacing the disk lock mechanism with something a bit less - er -
rubbish? I really like my Karimor panniers but the disc lock is so, so
stupid. Flimsy, apt to work loose, and worse still it means you can't
move the panniers from bike to bike AND the disk bit gets in the way if
you try to mount non-Karrimor panniers. I'm tempted by the bargain
waterproof Karrimors at Wiggle, but unless I can avoid the disc lock I'm
not getting them.

Edinburgh Bicycle sell Disc lock replacements. I would post a link...
er... hang on.[1]

First follow this:
http://www.edinburgh-bicycle.co.uk/catalogue/index.cfm

then this:

Is that the part you are looking for?

of a large part of their customer base and not allowing deep-linking. A
decision which almost certainly loses them sales. Ejits!
