Kiwifruit- Onion Chutney

    Kiwifruit- Onion Chutney

    1 cup White vinegar 1 cup Brown sugar, packed
    3/4 tsp Salt
    4/2 tsp Ground ginger
    5/8 tsp Ground red pepper 1 cup Cooking apple, peeled and chopped
    6/2 cup Sweet onions, thinly sliced
    7/2 cup Raisins
    8/4 x Lemon, thinly sliced 1 1/2 cup Kiwi fruit, peeled and chopped

    Combine first 5 ingredients in a large saucepan; cook over low heat until mixture is reduced to 1
    cup. Add apple and next 3 ingredients; cook 10 minutes. Stir in kiwifruit; bring to a boil. Remove
    from heat, cool. Cover and chill. Serve with poultry, pork or ham. Yield: 2 1/2 cups
