Anyone know how to either lube this pivot or dismantle to investigate annoying creaking?

The frame pivot should never be lubed, oil will shorten the life of the nylon washers. I asked Gary Klein, 7 years ago, about taking the frame apart for travelling. This is the reply that I got. I would read it and think about it before trying anything. It might be best to take the bike into you LBS and have them take a look or contact Klein directly through the web site, they are really good. Anyway here it is;

It would not void the warrant to remove the rear triangle, unless it gets
damaged in the process, which is a highly likely situation. Gary feels that
regularly disassebling and reassembling the frame could stress the pivot
ears on the rear triangle.

Pivot assembly/disassembly instructions

Removal

Remove the pivot nut.
Unscrew the pivot bolt slightly and tap out the threaded pivot cone as you
would a stem bolt and wedge.
Use the pivot bolt or another similar object to tap out the remaining
(unthreaded) pivot cone.
Carefully support the pivot ears with a vice or c-clamp.
Use a 1" headset removal tool to remove the pivot tube. NOTE: FAILURE TO
FULLY SUPPORT THE PIVOT EAR CAN RESULT IN FRAME DESTRUCTION.
The rear triangle will now separate from the main beam.
Remove the pivot bushings with a headset removal tool.

2. Installation

Press the pivot bushings into place.
Carefully supporting the pivot ears, press the pivot tube into place.
Slide the pivot cones into place.
Using the padded vice or c-clamp, squeeze the pivot ears tight against the
main beam.
Install and tighten the pivot bolt and nut.

These are the instructions to do so, but we really do not recommend it.
