Hi all

I've just changed road shoes (Look to Specialized) after some years in my old ones. After two relatively short rides (60kms & 40 kms.) I'm experiencing a little pain in my inner left knee. I'm using my old fixed cleats - is it just a question of cleat positioning or something more sinister? Someone has told me I should never use fixed cleats and should definitely be using"floating" cleats.

Is there a definitive method for setting up cleat position on new shoes?

Any constructive advise greatly appreciated

Cheers Trev:confused:

This spring I bought a new bike and was having severe knee pain which got so bad it hurt when I walked also. I have abd had Shimano cleats with the yello color which has some float. The problem was my seat position as soon as I moved my seat back and hung a string from my knee to insure Iwas back far enough the pain went away immediatly.

I've been experiencing knee pain as well which has gradually built up over a month of cycling to work. Do you have a link top a website that would show me what is wrong with my saddle position? All info gratefully received.

I've been having problems after cycling to work for a few months. I have knee pain and if it is saddle position related could someone direct me to a site where I can check the positioning? Cheers
