Kona Bike Headbadge removal for respray - How do i do it?

Hoi!

First time on this site, hello everyone!

I bought myself a Kona Honky Tonk 2010 last year and now thinking of a respray.



I'm ready to take on disassembing the bike but do you know how i take off the head badge?

I have attached an image below and it looks like i can pop it by hammering the pint at the back? is that right or will i mess it up if i do that?



Thanks in advance guys for any feedback - and also any other tips or watch its when im taking it apart putting it back together!
