Am trying to decide btwn the Challenger w/Headwind fan vs. Poly-Lytes.

I've been told the larger drums have a more road-like feel, but am not sure about the lower resistance. I usually read 3-4 times/wk, 20-30 miles @ 16-17 mph. Will the larger drums provide an adequate workout w/the headwind unit, or should I go smaller?

Try supergo.com alloy rollers. on sale for $95. I've had em 2 weeks and am VERY satisfied. My road average is 20mph and I've got my bike in middle ring middle cog when riding the rollers. Plenty of resistance.

Trust me, you can get all the work you want with the larger drums, even without the headwind. Put it in a high gear and spin for half an hour and you'll see. With the headwind it's like, well, it's like riding into a constant headwind.
