I will be purchasing a new set of wheels for my bike ('04 Pinarello Opera with Full Record 10) and I have narrowed my choices down between Mavic Ksyrium SL's and Campy Eurus'. I race weekend crits and occasional road races and I ride with a pretty fast club on weekends. I am also about 225 lbs, although I sometimes get down to 200 (no promises..). I have Ksyrium Elites as well as a set of Campy Protons. The Protons feel a little stiffer and have held up a little better than the Ksyriums. My plan is to use the Protons as a spare set and replace them with either the Ksyriums or Eurus'. I would appreciate any advice that you can offer. Thank you.

I own a set of Eurus wheels and like them alot. I find them stiff, but offer a good ride on my Prince SL.. I use them in races/training when the winds are less then favorable for my Mavic Carbone SLs...
If you are looking at the Eurus wheel, I'm sure the 2005 models will be on sale shortly as the new 2006 model is coming out shortly, some stores even have them already...
If you want to order from overseas, here's a set of 2005 Eurus for a little over $100 cheaper.
I've ordered alot from these guys (I'm in Canada) and always got my parts.

Whilst I'm a whole lot lighter than you (140lbs), I also narrowed it down to Ksyriums or Eurus. I ended up going with the Campy's because: - there's less of them out there - they look and feel more aero to me (in fact I saw some German mag comparison testing them in a cross-wind - Ksyriums were the worst for drag, with those wide spokes) - reviews always seem to mention how the eurus made good training wheels, iow they thought they're pretty strong and can take lots of abuse. - they just look nicer 🙂
I have both the Ksyrium SL and Campy Eurus. My SL's have a more frictionless hub than my Eurus wheels. And then then SL's don't need rim tape so they are lighter than the Eurus. I think the Eurus might be a little more aero but their hub will suck out your power, so in all I think the Ksyrium SLs are better.
