Hi there,
Does anyone know if you can replace a Ksyrium SSC rim (think around a 2001 model not the SL version) with an Elite rim? I cracked my rear rim and want to replace it with a low cost option. The spokes and hub are fine. Just not sure if any of the rims are compatable or if I have to replace it with a SSC SL rim.

Unless you have an Elite rim laying around, having Mavic rebuild the wheel with a new rim won't be a big difference either way. I looked for an Elite rim for months and everywhere I turned the same message came out "Need to send it back to Mavic, they don't sell rims individually." I ended up mating it to a cheapie Alex aero rim. If you have access to the two wheels, take some precise measurements of the spokes and rim thickness. Good luck!
