I used to be an avid mountain biker, often going out 2-3 times a week ina bid to get me back into it and get fit.

Job and other things dictated I cut this down and suffice to say my bike has spent much of the last year tucked away in the garage.

I have now entered myself into the L2B bike ride and giving myself plenty of preparation time I wondereed if someone couold give me an idea of the type of regime I should be following.

I am looking at spending 2-3 days in the gym (adivce on where I should be concentrating my efforts) and then Sundays to get a decent ride in.

Any hints, tips on this would be great and any regimes people have followed to previously complete the L2B.
