We used to get the Paul Hogan show over here in the early 1980's before Crocodile Dundee fame brought him to pastures new.
He was very funny back in those days.

I grew up in communist Romania, and I remember how big it was when the first Crocodile Dundee was aired in cinemas (something like 1987-88). A very nice break from the usual Chinese / Eastern European movies that were usually seen in Romanian cinemas back then. Paul Hogan was my childhood idol, although I distinctly remember that barking dogs didn't calm down at the Croc Dundee sign.
