Five-time champ LA has twice had his bike weighed and refused as the regulations stipulate that the bike cannot weigh lighter than 6.8kg..

20 grams too light according to Cyclingnews ............

All they have to do is put on a heavier bottle cage or something .......... no sweat.

Holy crap! He passed Basso too. He needed to gain time on Basso, so that gives him over 2 min.

Same issue is Formula1 racing. They spend over a million dollars on a car; even go so far as to build the transmission housing out of carbon fiber; but in the end they have to meet minimum weight requirments...so they just bold on lead plates to the bottoms of the cars to meet regulation weight.

    Insane....isn't technology great!?!??!

Do you think 55km is long enough for ullrich to get the 3 minutes he needs to take Klöden's third spot on the podium?

Kloden only lost 3 seconds to JU in the prologue. Right now, I'm with Steve.

Hey, who knows? If JU can keep it up tomorrow like he did today, maybe. Otherwise, based on what's happened thus far, I'm thinking Kloden will overtake Basso and land on the Podium in 2nd.
