I've been shopping for a new road bike and have narrowed it down to two bikes. The Felt f-60 (2004) or the Trek 2200 (2003). Can anyone give any insight. I can get the Trek for about $1200 and the Felt for about $1000. Major difference is the carbon in the seat stay the Trek don't have it on the 2003 model and the Felt does. Both bikes ride good, just don't know if I should stay with the Trek name or not?

In my quest I got it down to Felt and Trek as well, having eliminated Giant, Bianchi, Merida and Avanti.
I went with Felt as it has better components for the same money in Aus. I liked the frame style and geometry of the Felt over the Trek as well.
My final choices were Trek 1200 flat bar and Felt SR81 flat bar racing bikes, flat bar as I am new to cycling and well over 50.
