Last week before a big race

Ok got a big race(s) happening this weekend. It's the 94.7 cycle challenge (www.cyclechallenge.co.za), but on the day before the saterday there's a 40km MTB race as well, i fyou do both you get a special medal that I want :D. Now yesterday I did a 100km race as a last preperation for this coming weekend's racing. Thinking of scaling my training down this week. Basically just a short ride on tuesday and thursday and that's it and drink lots of water this week to make sure I am properly hydrated and maybe up my carbo intake with a carbo loading drink from thursday onwards? Anyone got any other tips?
