Late night riding - one of my favorite times to ride - anyone else's?

Just wondered if anyone else enjoys riding late, say between 11:00 pm and 5:00 or 6:00 am. Personally, my very favorite time to ride, especially between about 3:00 to 5:00 am. Quiet, peaceful, very little traffic, our safety paths aren't full of obstacles like dog walkers. Yes, it does take a little commitment if you have a day job, but hey, you can always take a desk nap the next day - just kidding, but I admit I have to hit the caffeine hard some afternoons.

Yep. In Arizona I had a 14 mile commute to school, and I loved riding home at night. Quite often those rides home were after midnight. It was especially peaceful on isolated desert roads.

I've been enjoying the stars and moon on clear nights, and recently all of the holiday lights, many people let them burn all night.
