  1. Lazy Man's Pie

    1-1/2 cup flour 1-1/2 cup sugar 1-1/2 cup milk 1-1/2 Tbs. baking powder
    3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) margarine 21 oz. can fruit pie filling (cherry, apple, blueberry, etc)

    Melt margarine in 13X9 pan in oven. Mix flour, sugar, milk and baking powder. Pour mixture in pan
    with margarine. Top with fruit. Bake at 400 about 20 min.

    Variation: To make pineapple or peach upside cake: Thicken a can of pineapple or peaches (cut in
    chunks) with cornstarch over low heat to use in place of canned pie filling. Sprinkle brown sugar
    over melted butter in pan before adding butter.
