Gearne Cycling shoes.
Any comments - reliability, failures etc?

As far as I can see, those PD22 inserts are not really meant
for riding on, at least, that's what this link suggests:

I've used the cheaper M515 pedals and they work fine.
Looking at other sites:

it seems the SM-PD22 is an optional reflector set, so
I'm not sure if it's meant for flat/platform conversions.
