Lepper Voyagur saddles with hollow 531 tubular rails have been found to break at the point where the
rails attach to the rear stretcher frame. There's been various reports in the newsgroups and on some
mailing lists about this. Allegedly the design has been changed, but I haven't seen any of the new
saddles to compare.

The concern- as I have read it- was that the rails did not "flair" out at the back of the saddle, so
the rear stretcher frame extends well beyond the rails, allowing the rider's weight to have quite a
bit of leverage on the welds as it rocks back and forth under pedaling. IMHO this is a design
problem rather than a QC problem.

That said, I have two of these saddles (take-offs from Cannondale touring bikes), with several
thousand miles on them each, and with no failure so far. I weigh just north of 200 lbs. BTW they're
very comfortable and lighter than a Brooks Swift Ti.
